It’s been a looooong time since the San Francisco 49ers were in the NFL playoffs. And never before at Levi’s Stadium.

So the chefs at the team’s Santa Clara home have decided to up their culinary game.

For Saturday’s divisional playoff against the Minnesota Vikings, fans with access to the Citrix Owners Club — and no, if you have to ask you can’t afford it — will enjoy ribeye and tomahawk steaks dusted with 24-carat edible gold flakes, a glittery tribute to the team’s Gold Rush mascot and branding.

They’ll toast the team with champagne or the signature cocktail, a Blood Orange Old Fashioned made with fresh blood orange juice, honey, rosemary syrup and Gold Bar Whiskey.

Guests in suites will receive 49ers-themed chocolate bars.

And the fans in the cheap seats — and yes, cheap is relative when it comes to postseason play — will find some new food choices too: Loaded Bulgogi Pork Nachos with kimchi at stands near Sections 124 and 303; Fritos Cheesy Elote Nachos, made with roasted corn, jalapeños, cotija cheese and Flamin’ Hot Cheeto dust, behind Sections 108 and 302; and a San Francisco classic, Dungeness Crab Sammy, behind Section 124.
