If you were wondering who Cincinnati restauranteur Jeff Ruby hopes the Bengals will choose for their first round draft pick, here's a clue.
He announced Saturday that Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse in Cincinnati will now offer a dish called Steak Burrow named after Louisiana State University quarterback Joe Burrow.
Experts have speculated that Burrow, who grew up in Ohio and who's father used to coach at Ohio University, will be the Bengals' first-round draft pick.
"In honor of the (potentially) newest Cincinnati Bengal, Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse, Cincinnati introduces Steak Burrow," Ruby announced on Facebook. "A 16 ounce blackened prime ribeye with creole crawfish sauce."
Ruby said $9 from each sale of the dish will be donated to the Athens County Food Pantry located in Burrow's home county.
"We were inspired by Joe Burrow's recent Heisman trophy acceptance speech where he recognized his hometown and brought awareness to the issue of food insecurity in that area," Ruby said.
Burrow's father, Jimmy Burrow, told the press this month his son would be happy if the Bengals picked him. "He'll look at as a challenge," he said.
But Former Cincinnati Bengals receiver and current Fox Sports NFL analyst T.J. Houshmandzadeh said Friday he doubts Burrow can turn the team around.
"If Carson couldn't do it, I don't think anybody can do it," Houshmandzadeh said.
